Here are the guidelines for guest speakers:

Thank you for your interest in speaking to our club on , at 12 noon.

If possible could you send a one or 2 sentence description of your talk so that we can use this on our web site to inform & notify our members of the program for that day. In addition we need a brief bio that we can use in your introduction.

Here is information for presenters to help plan your talk.

Details for presenters :

Where & When:         We meet every Tuesday at the Prince Arthur Hotel in the Provincial Room on the 2nd Floor.  The meeting starts at 12 noon and is over just after 1 pm.  Parking is available in the Prince Arthur Hotel Parking lot.

Length of Presentation :        The presentation should be about 15 minutes long with time for about 5 minutes of questions.  If the topic requires additional time please let me know so we can modify the agenda.  The meeting opens with the National Anthem and a Reflection.  Announcements followed by a short recess to allow members to finish their lunch.  At 12:15 we start the business part of the meeting so the guest speaker can start their program at about 12:30 pm. After the presentation and question/answer session there could be other business and/or announcements that you are welcome to stay for.

Technical Set Up:        We have a projector for power point presentations and a wireless mic for the PA system is available, but presenters should provide their own computer. If you need to amplify the audio from the power point presentation please advise so we can have the appropriate cables and amp.  Presenters normally arrive at about 11:45 am to set up. Just let the Rotarian greeter at the reception guest know that you are the guest speaker.

Notes from your presentation: If you have used a powerpoint presentation or if you have a summary of your presentation we would be happy to post it on our web page in the weekly 'newsletter section' to allow members who missed the meeting to learn about your topic. If this is possible please email this file to me at your convenience. Our website is www.parotary.com .

A lunch will be available at no charge to the presenter(s).  You are welcome to bring a guest to assist.

Thanks, looking forward to your presentation.
